the day the universe stood still

Another calm Friday at work. I don't mind too much. I can clear my head and get my next week planned as well as do some studying. I'm heading Saskatoon right after. I think I'll feel a little better when I'm there, but this is the best I've felt all week. I've been able to get some sleep the past couple of nights, finally, and was able to rest a little after work. I wish I could say the same for my coffee buddy James. I'm half expecting to go over to his cubicle and see the aftermath of him exploding. An ear on the filing cabinet, a toe in the recycle bin. Kinda like that Monty Python where the fat guy at the restaurant eats the wafer thin slice of ham and explodes.

My spoiler got put on my car! It looks really good. I'll put some pics up of it here. I think that will be the extent of my car modifications.

And now, since I have nothing to say, I'll post a conversation I had with Dave. Although Dave has already read this conversation, it will not help him combat his boredom problem.

Candice:what's new? What's hip? What's happenin'? How's life in da hood?
Dave:meh just sitting here in tech com working on a memo
Candice:that's not nearly as exciting of an activity as I thought you were doing
Dave :yeah sorry but I am going to be skipping a class today if that makes up for things
Candice:what Dave? No you can't!
Dave:oh yes I can
Candice:what are you skipping? and why? are you going to be drunk? I want to be drunk
Dave:no I wish I just don't want to go to physics
Candice:no go to physics, you love physics! It's your best friend! It'll be lonely without you!
Candice:Physics that is
Candice:You'll hurt it's feelings and the laws of physics will forever be against you.
Dave:Finally I hate thoughs fuckers but they keep calling me
Candice:hmmm, think you have some problems if the laws of physics keep on calling you. Especially gravity, I hear he's downright revengeful.
Dave:yeah but he's awesome when he's drunk
Candice:he's pretty mean when he's drunk. Kind surly and unpredictable
Dave:meh I'm cool with it, you just have to know how to handle him
