my rack is lonely

oh man. Vacation is over. I'm soooooo sad to see it go. It was much needed. The last time I really had a week off to do nothing was probably 6 years ago and when I took that trip to the coast. Since then nada....

I feel so relaxed. I'm not ready to go back to work yet. Actually I'm thinking more and more about getting a new job and it sounds appealing. I've revamped my resume and away I'll go. I'll try to stick around in Saskatoon, I love my condo and my friends here. Let's see where that brings me. I really want to get back into Web Application Development, I really had alot of fun with that.

The weekend was wonderful. I went up north to Narrow Hills. I hiked around the Gem lakes, about a 6km trek in the bush. I made the mistake of wearing shorts, I really needed some pants or high socks for that one, the brush tore up my ankles. I fed a Gray Jay from my hand! That was amazing. He was eyeing up my cherries, I noticed, so I put one in my hand and he landed on my thumb! So cool. And the beach was beautiful. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

I made a trip to the Dollarama before I left where I found a Banana Tree fror $1! I've been looking all over for one of those. My bananas are way to good to sit on the counter with all the other lowly fruit. But at the moment the rack is lonely, tomorrow I shall buy some bananas for it....
