New Beginnings

It's nice out now, it's almost spring, everything is melting away and warm, new beginnings, new starts.

I had a fun weekend. I went to a party on Friday for one of Darrell's friends (the new boyfriend). Had some fun, played some drinking games, played some guitar hero. I liked the reaction I got when the guys started talking about guitar hero and kinda making faces, like they had to explain it to me, until I chirped in with "I brought my own guitar!" It was pretty funny. Darrell's friend Matt is an amazing cook, there were double baked potatos, marinated wild boar, huge caveman ribs, curry steelhead trout, it was just incredible. Saturday we had an afternoon date of sorts, wandered around downtown, caught a movie. We saw 23 with Jim Carrey. It was such a funny movie. Make a note it was not trying to be a funny movie. Basically anything can be deduced to the number 23, there's 13 chairs and I have 10 fingers, and that equals 23! Oh no! Too silly. Shannon phoned me that afternoon and told me to wear something over the top because we were going dancing that night. I said sure. So we both had on mini skirts and revealing tops and we took Blair and and Darrell to Beily's. I think Shannon and I practically danced to every song, we even got the boys out for a couple of them. Took a nasty tumble when we were all dancing crazily together and I tripped on a stair and everyone fell. It was hilarious. That stair totally came outta nowhere. So we had lots of fun. Then Sunday some more hanging out with Darrell, we took a walk and got slurpees and I hung out with some friends in the evening. All in all it was a jam packed fun weekend. But nothing seemed rushed, it was just enjoyable and fun.

I'm really excited that it's nice out. A nice precursor to summer. I love summer and hopefully will get a vacation this summer. Everything is good. I didn't think I'd enjoy having a boyfriend around, but I really do. I really like this one. I hope he sticks around for a while. Going to the symphony on Saturday with him. That'll be fun. His idea and normal happening for him even, not mine! Imagine that. So yeah, he's pretty cool and I kinda like him.
