Runaway Train

It's been a while since I've updated this. I'm going to have a hard time picking and choosing what to put on here. Since the last post, I spent a much needed relaxing weekend in Regina, had a couple dates, held a breakup party, and went dress shopping.

In Regina I got to hang out with the fam, hang out with Heather and harrass Matt at BPs, and visited with James and Mika, whom I miss. Here we are in Victoria Park admiring the ice sculptures.

What more could a person ask for in a long weekend? Shannon and Blair broke up this week, so I held the most fun breakup party ever for Shannon. There was guitar hero, Haggan Daas, and the Gladiator drinking game. Watch the movie Gladiator and take a drink everytime someone yells Maximus or any time someone gets killed. Lets see if you make it through. We broke out the martini glasses and away we went.

Barbara and I had the most successful dress shopping day that I've ever had in my life. 1 hour and three dresses later, we were set. I couldn't believe it. Usually I have such a hard time finding sizes etc, but it must of been my lucky day. I bought a cute summer dress from Bryan's on sale, and a gorgeous wrap dress and a cocktail dress from Le Chateau. I'll wear the cocktail dress to Brett's wedding. It's a pretty deadly dress, I love it. It sounds like alot but the last time I bought a dress was in 2005 and before that probably 2003. Yes those dresses still fit, but they're becoming dated. So much fun! ;)
