This weekend was so busy and weird. Friday night after work, Blair, Shannon and Juliet came over for video games and pizza. That pizza never tasted so good. Shannon and I went to pick it up after hearing that having it delivered would take 2 hours, or 15 minutes if we picked it up. Later I went to Paul's where we met, to go to a hole in the wall place called Cracker's for Karaokee. Adventures were had, I think the guys ganged up on me to get me drunk to get me to go sing. Which I did, Summer Loving from Grease. I dueted with Jeff, who is way to good to have to sing that song with me. Did some dancing, watched Paul as he reciprocated some attention from some cougars. Too funny. I ended up keeping up with the boys in drinking, which I shouldn't have. But I did without being too sick, so all in all not bad. I ended up crashing on Paul's hide a bed for the night and woke up at 9:30 the next morning. Exactly 30 mins to go before I had to meet Barbara, Toni, Debra and Barbara's mom for wedding dress shopping.
I met them at the bridal store, only 10 mins late, not that bad. We watched Barbara try on some beautiful dresses. So pretty! And we found the dress. Not too bad! We then went and tried on bridesmaids dresses and found some absolutely gorgeous ones that looked good on all of us. I get to wear the whip cream skirt that I didn't get to wear in July! Hooray! And to top it off, I am a size 0. Sweet! Who says stress has drawbacks? The dresses are in colours called stone and mocha. Now to invent some other places to wear it.
Needless to say Saturday I was absolutely exhausted. I was excited about finding the dresses but in rough shape from the night before, in desperate need of a nap. So I showered and ended up taking a nap for 4 hours and then talked to Phil for a while and decided to call it a night.
Sunday was productive as well. I got my den closed organised nicely so I can access everything I need to and pile the christmas stuff in there. Did some grocery shopping. Ended up finding a really cool pair of ballerina shoes at WalMart for $10! Also I'm going to be acquiring a spare bed for the den, graciously donated by my parents and aunt and uncle. It'll be nice to have a place for overnight guests again. That's exciting. The fire alarm in my building went off last night at 11. It was a really weird alarm too, at first I thought it was on the cd I was listening to. It was kinda a techno beat associated with it. Then I realized I was listening to an acoustic cd and that could not be the case. But the alarm went off. Everyone on the floor was confused, but I did get to meet my neighbors, although none of them really seemed to care. Everyone on my floor seems to keep to themselves pretty good. Then I had some sweet dreams about firefighters coming to rescue me....
