End of an Era

6 years is a long time. It's over half a decade. Over half a decade is a long time for anything. No fashion style or music style has remained popular for over half a decade. Dan and I broke up. Not had a fight, but broke up. I've been on many sides of the spectrum since. Some days or hours I'm fine, it's for the best. Other hours, I'm not fine. Also, note to self, do not check out lavalife in either of these states to see what's out there, it's very depressing.

My best bet is to keep myself busy with something at all times. But I start little projects, find out they bug me and then don't finish, then it makes me feel worse.

Friends and family have been amazing through all of this though. The guys at work pitched in and got me a card, teddy bear and booze, they could see I was upset. Barbara has been amazing, offering cheering up and help where ever I need. Toni's been great too. All the phone calls have been appreciated too. I've only been in Saskatoon for 5 months and there's all these great friends to lean on. I want to thank all of the above for everything.

I'll be okay eventually, I've just got to get past a hard couple of weeks. Right?
