Had our housewarming bash on Friday. It was quite the mix of different people, but lots of fun. Old friends I've known from Grade 9 came, university friends, new friends, work friends, it was a good mix.
The inner hostess in me decided to make some appetizers for the party. So I flipped through my cookbooks and picked out a couple of dips that looked interesting and weren't very time consuming. So I settled on having a ham and cheeseball dip, railroad dip and the infamous nacho dip. The one thing I didn't pay attention was the amount of cheese that I was using in these dips. The railroad dip itself was just cheese, onions and mayo. So I stuffed my guests with cheese. Next time I'll have to watch out for that and provide some more variety. I'm sure their digestive tracts will thank me.
