I survived this weekend. I survived my first bridal show. 1000 brides packed into the basement of TCU Place (Centenniel Auditorium), they all brought their closest friends relatives and kids. I really just wanted to go to the fashion show and then dart back out. There were Mom's there telling the young brides what to do very forcefully and loudly, there were excited brides pushing their way everywhere! We ended up going to all the tables anyways, there were lots of free contests and stuff to be won. There were lots of free honeymoons given away. The fashion show was a good experience, I now know what the different types of material is called and how they hang. There was also lots of ideas. All in all it wasn't that bad and I survived. I got a tonne of coupons and information. Having Barbara there helped too since she's more laid back about this stuff just like I am. I survived.
I got a new wedding magazine for free there. Again, I still can't read the articles, they are too dumb but there's lots of pictures of pretty dresses. I get so annoyed with all this stuff because it's such a business! They sell all these little things for weddings that you must have, otherwise your day will not be perfect. It's really annoying.
