Stuff is good

Just looked at the forecast today....there is a call for either rain or snow in Edmonton saturday. Another trip where I need to pack shorts and a winter coat. Crazy Canada. Other than that, going through a painfully slow moment at work today. I can't wait until the project actually gets planned and I can do real work again, that's much more entertaining. I felt like I read the whole internet today. It's only been an hour of boredom, I'm just not in a 'sit around and read the internet' mood. I want to do stuff.

Work finally announced the plan for moving downtown. Yay! That's exciting. We're supposed to move in January or February. That's perfect because I hate driving in snow and ice. This way it's a nice walk across the street and through the parking lot. They are even talking about subsidizing our parking downtown, which is cool for people that will drive there. I guess they were looking for an actual parking lot they could buy, but if you've been to downtown Saskatoon you know the problems associated with that.

They finally announced the date and selling price for the Nintendo Wii, that will be my only next generation console I've decided. I love my PS2 but I like fun quircky games and alot of the games for it are very serious and button skill intensive. You know, holding down one button to duck, while holding another to pull your gun out and using the 2nd joystick to aim, but all of a sudden I've forgotten why I'm holding down square, let go by accident, my guy stands up and gets shot and I start all over. Whatever happened to jump, switch weapons and shoot, what more do you need? Of course I say this now, until PS3 releases a new Dance Dance Revolution or Katamari and I'll be all over it.
