Soooooo busy

Man, it's been a long time since I updated this. So much has happened, so much unblogged ranting! What has the world come to?

I spent this past week in Saskatoon for work. I was sooo busy at work, I was literally spinning around in circles from going to meetings to working in the lab to meeting new people. It was insane. The evening I spent with Dan when he was around. When he wasn't I went shopping with Toni or caught up with Luke, who was in S'toon at the same time. Some close friends of mine got engaged. I won't ruin it for them, if people they know read this, so I'm not going to say who. I beat Barbara at a bored game about TV, which is just lucky, and we drank some good "punch" and had a good time Friday night. There's my week in a nutshell.

It looks like I'll be moving to Saskatoon by July at the latest. I was promised at my current job that that is the case, they will move me there, but I've had interviews with another company and it looks quite promising. It'll be a big decision if I'm offered that job, but it looks to be the best professional choice to take the job at the other company. I'll keep ya posted, but either way, I don't live here anymore, wooo hoo!

Dan and I have been talking about buying a house when I move there. I have more than enough for a downpayment so it wouldn't be a problem. I'm just trying to figure out if I should put my money into RRSPs and then take it out as the downpayment for the mortgage? I'll have to meet with a financial planner. I don't like my savings just sitting there anyways, they may as well be doing something. So much fun!

All the girls I went to highschool with seem to be in a fight about something these days. In the last 4 days I've come across 2 different angry email chains. Both kinda triggered by the same person, I don't even know how to stay neutral anymore. I used to be Switzerland. I hope to continue to be Switzerland. Right now Guuam is looking pretty good too. We're all stressed out and have alot going on but if something is intentionally harmful and you say it, have the courage to say I'm sorry or just walk away before you say it. It's not worth it! Be Switzerland!

All that talk about Switzerland and now I have a craving for chocolate.

The whitestrips turned out to be okay. You just need to get used of them. They actually did work to make my teeth whiter and hide those spots, it was pretty impressive. The dentist could probably do a better job but I think it looks okay now and I can't justify $300 for that right now. They never bugged me that much in the first place, I think I can survive.
