Cleanin' up!

So with my impending move, I decided to clean out my room. Well that and I bought new luggage and cannot fit it in my closet and I bought new clothes and have no room for them in my dresser. So I sat down today at my cluttered computer desk and thought, that's it! It's time to clean!

I went through all my old clothes and pulled out 4 garbage bags of stuff I've had from high school, purple paisly pants, a pile of old jeans, washed out tank tops that would make the grunge crowd even cringe. So the stuff that wasn't garbage, I decided to take to salvation army. So I phoned to ask where the nearest drop off bin was. They said Maxwell Crescent, which is in the industrial area. I thought that was strange but packed up my car and went. There isn't one there, there's not one by superstore anymore, the website said the petro can but that's been closed for years. I want to do a nice thing and I can't find a place to drop it off! I guess that will be tomorrows project, for now the clothes can sit in my car.

I also pulled out a pile of textbooks from my room. I'm donating them to the open door society which helps immigrants. What they are going to do with the books, I don't know but I phoned the library who said to phone them and they said they'd take em.

The next thing to tackle is my closet. I've got all the books I've read since I was 7 in there. I'm going to keep those, I'm sure my kids would like them someday, maybe my Babysitter's Club and BabySitter's Little Sister books will be collectors items some day. I have 1-100 of each in perfect condition. Either way they just need to be packed away until needed. I've got quite the project ahead of me. I'm half done, just a little more to go. Then maybe I won't feel so cluttered.
